
NOLAN POZZI
Senior civil/structural eNGINEER & pARTNER
Nolan is a senior civil/structural engineer and partner at Beck Engineering Ltd. (BEL) where he began his career in 2010. He graduated with honours from Lethbridge College in civil engineering technology and holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Lakehead University. Recognizing that successful projects are built by strong teams, Nolan strives to be an excellent team player. He is passionate about learning and growing, consistently enhancing his technical and leadership skills.
Nolan has designed and managed numerous gas plant projects, as well as unique endeavors such as carbon capture retrofits and sulfur pits. His expertise includes the structural design of skids, pipe rack modules, access structures, and overhead cranes. Nolan is skilled in foundation design for skid packages, pipe racks, storage tanks, vessels, and vibrating equipment. His civil engineering work encompasses site grading design, liner and leak detection systems, and retaining walls. He also has a strong background in assessing and modifying existing structures and remediating foundations.
Outside of professional life Nolan can be found having adventures with his wife and three kids. His passion for learning extends past engineering where he is always reading a good book. He enjoys frequenting the gym, a good sauna, and casually plays the drums.
